Our mission is to provide personable and high-quality learning that breaks away from traditional and outdated methods. With each lesson, we strive to foster academic improvement in young students, to give them the confidence they need to overcome academic obstacles, and to cultivate their excitement to learn. Our synchronous approach to learning creates an engaging and cooperative atmosphere between tutors and students that breaks from the traditional, antiquated lecture model popularized in classrooms today.

Our tutors are current students or recent graduates of the top universities in the United States. They come from an education background or have several years of tutoring experience. Each tutor goes through a background check and an extensive interview process.

$55 for 60 minutes. $35 for 30 minutes.

We ask that every lesson be booked at least 24 hours prior to the lesson taking place. This affords our tutors ample time to prepare and adjust their schedules accordingly.

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If a lesson is canceled 24 hours prior to the scheduled session, you will be fully refunded. Any cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable. In the rare case that a tutor has to cancel a session, you will be offered a full refund and the option to reschedule.

Please have ready any relevant material including examples of worksheets, lesson plans, and homework so that our tutors can best serve you. Prior to each session, you will also receive an email that includes tips to ensure the success of each session. Please contact info@swooptutors.com if you have any questions.

We use Zoom to conduct all tutoring sessions. You will receive a link to Zoom following the booking of your session. If you do not have an active Zoom account, please create one prior to your lesson.

If your child's schedule does not match up with a particular tutor you like, don't worry! Email at info@swooptutors.com and we will try our best to find a time that works for both your child and their desired tutor.

Yes, of course! We ask you to email info@swooptutors.com and we will make arrangements to connect with your child’s teacher(s) to coordinate the most effective lesson plan.
